Weather Shield window balance required

The Weather Shield window balance strings broke. Need replacement balances, both sides. Markings on balance: H01 DB 27 Hd

Hello,

Thanks for your post! I'm confident we can supply a replacement for this balance. Although, I'll need to know the length of the metal channel and whether or not the balances screw in or use a clip at the top of the window.

The balance screws in at the top. The balance channel is 27 7/8" long from the top to the lower that ends just pass the top of the sash. The channel is 1/2" wide with a raised part that is 3/8" wide.

Hello,

The S751-28 should work to replace your balances. You'll need the 27HD Stamp; a pair of these will support a sash weighing 19 to 24lbs.

I believe the balance should be 28" in length. To confirm an accurate measurement for the length you'll need to move the sash to double check the dimension.
