Weather Strip / Seal For Alenco Horizontal Sliding Window

Greetings from hurricane ravaged Houston!
I need replacement weather striping for a 40 year old Alenco horizontal sliding window. This striping fits in a channel in the bottom of the frame adjacent to the track that the sash slides on. The window pane slides against it during its horizontal travel.

It looks like you can use our 58-177 to replace your old weatherseal. You're just going to want to compare the measurements on our site to your part, to be sure that it fits. Good luck fixing up your window.

This product (58-177) is almost a perfect match for the original weather seal and seems to be working quite well. It was a little tough to get it to fit into the kerf properly but a little dry lubricant helped to get it seated.
