I need to replace the felt weather stripping in a Jordan window. I can't slide the weather stripping out.It appears to have a plastic backing attached to the stripping.Also the windows are installed. Any help as to how to remove the weatherstripping. My weather stripping is not on the frame with the glass.
My stripping is in 2 different places on the main frame.
Have no room to slide it out.

If there is no way to slide the weatherseal out, then your options are limited. You will have to get a little creative. You can consider using a razor knife to carefully cut a slight opening on the groove where the weatherseal sits. You just want to cut just enough, so you don't damage the window, but with that you should be able slide out the wool pile.
