Weather stripping for casement windows

Home Owner from Penfield, NY
Hi. I need help in replacing weather stripping for Simonton casement windows. (These windows are 26 years old) As you can see the old weather stripping is completely falling apart and off the window. I contacted Simonton and was told they no longer carry this particular weather stripping and they were no help. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jim

Thanks for reaching out to us, Jim. If Simonton no longer makes this seal then there is a good chance that we won't be able to get a hold of it, either. However I'm still happy to try to find you some kind of alternative.

Would you be able to show me a picture of the end profile in undamaged condition? I know that your seal is falling apart but there is no other way to identify weatherstripping like this. Seeing the end profile in as close to undamaged condition as possible is the only possible way we can track down an alternative. Please let me know if that would be possible and we can work from there.

Thanks Tom.

Yes, I'll try to capture this as best as I can.

Thank you! I know it's easier said than done, but I'll do my best to work with whatever you can get me. Figure that the more damaged the sample is, the less likely we'll be able to help. Worst comes to worst I can always narrow it down to a couple different possibilities, and then you can order a sample of each. That way if all else fails you can at least try out a couple different kinds without having to commit to a purchase.

I'm afraid not. I specifically need to see the end profile, which will require removing a small and undamaged sample. The video below will clarify what I mean.
