Weather stripping for sliding patio door

Home Owner from Merrill Wisconsin
The weather stripping slides into the slot on plastic piece. Picture shows side with weather stripping top of door is with out.cant find right size. Plastic piece of weather stripping that slides into holderis either 9/32 or 5/16 I think. Fuzzy part is like 2 pieces with plastic in between. Are the plastic pieces that hold the weather stripping suppose to pop off door.

Hello,

We do not carry any wool pile replacements with a 5/16" backing but we carry a handful that measure 9/32". The determining factor would be the height of the pile. You can start by comparing the dimensions of the 58-128, 58-126, and 58-045 to your seal, which have the same plastic fins in the center that help prevent the pile from being pushed down as easily. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by the plastic pieces popping off the door. The backing of this kind of wool pile generally slides into a groove in the frame from the corner. Thank you!
