Weather stripping needed

Question

. I have a 22 year old Therma-Tru 8 foot double front door (picture below) My contractor pulled off my weather stripping and threw it away before he got the replacement and the replacement was to thick. The one he bought is to thick for the door to close. Can you please see if you have the smallest weather stripping for this door or I am stuck The one he removed was a very narrow white almost rectangle piece pictured above that I can't find. Can you please help me.

Thanks for posting. I am afraid the Therma-Flu brand isn't associated definitively with certain weatherseals. This is seldom the case with any brand. The 58-173 does come up a lot for this make however, so take a look below and see what you think.

I'm a bit confused. Is the foam seal you show in your photos the original, or the one the handyperson used erroneously? If it's the original, the 58-180 is our closest match. This has an adhesive base, so you'd have to find a way to adapt it to your door, but take a look and see if is close. Either way, your handyperson did not do you many favors by discarding the original! Let me know if you have further questions.
