For pile weatherstripping, there should be an opening slot where the original pile can slide out of the window frame. If you find that there is no opening, you may need to make a cutout to free the strip. Please review the videos on the page for assistance. 

Once the pile is removed, you will need to measure the width of the base and height of the pile. From there start by comparing to our selection to determine the best fit. Let me know if you have any questions!
