Weatherseal Help

A handy person from Clermont, GA says:
I have disintegrating t-slot weather stripping in my windows. They have no foam inside. The tube is hollow. My dimensions are .188 (3/16) for the T, .3125 (5/16) for the bubble, and .75 (3/4) overall.

I was wondering if any of the products you have would work. I am considering 58-182 or 58-183. My concern is that since they are foam-filled that my windows won't close. I noticed that the compression is maximum of 50 percent and the ones I have seem to be smashed flat.

Thanks!
Kim

Thanks for reaching out to us, Kim. Based on your dimensions I think the 58-182 will be the best match since the bubble diameter of .300" is closer to your given dimension of .3125.

As for it being foam filled, that shouldn't be an issue. In my experience foam-filled weatherstripping does the job just as well. As long as the bubble diameter is the same size as the original then you should be okay.
