Weathershield 2016 aluminum casing windows weather striping peeling off

We have a house with weathershield windows and some of the strips that go between the exterior window frame and window jam are peeling off. I called weathershield, their local distributor and had no luck in getting any assistance at all. The vendor who supplied the windows have sold their business the and company who bought them said they can't help.
When I looked at the strips that peeled off, it seems the gap between the window frame and jam is much wider than the strip itself. Some gaps are 1/2" wide. I have included the strip in my picture. Can I replace these with a wider strip that would stay in place better?
