Weathershield casement window slider

Home Owner from Florida
This part is from the upper hinge slide of a 2006 Weathershield casement window. The part has broken allowing the top of the window to tilt outward. The rest of the hinge and hardware seem OK.

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say we would not be able to supply you with a replacement for the track slider on your hinge alone. Typically when these break or become damaged, the entire hinge needs to be replacement.

That said, I'm happy to identify the replacement you need. I'll just need to see a photo of your hinge to determine the best possible replacement. I'll also need to know the measurement for the length of the track that installs to the window sill.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.

The track is approximately 10 inches. The attached pictures are from a similar window however the pictures are hinged on the right side of the window while our broken one is hinged on the left. Hope this helps

Thanks for the photos. I believe you may be able to use our 36-048 2-Bar Hinge Set. They can be used for the left and right side of the window, on the top and bottom. To confirm if these would work to replace your existing hinges, you'll need carefully review and compare the dimensions shown below.

There is a chance the measurements may not be an exact match for your hinge, so there is a likelihood you'll need to drill new holes to install it.

It would be best to replace both the top and bottom hinge at the same time to ensure that they are a match. This will ensure the window will continue to operate properly.
