Weatherstrip for Single Pella Patio Door

A home owner from South Windsor says:
Good morning,

I have a 15 year old Pella patio door whose weatherstrip is completely worn out. I cannot locate the model number or serial number for the door, so attached are several photos of the current seal in its dilapidated state. I hope you can help me identify the needed replacement.

The door is 34" wide and 80" tall. Does that mean I need three pieces of weatherstripping?

Is there anything special I need to know about how to install the replacement seal? The only thing noticeable on my door is that the metal backbone of the seal is trimmed at the bottom on each side.

Thanks for your help.

Take a look at our 58-181 Pella brand bulb weatherseal. It is sold in 94" lengths and can be cut with shears or heavy duty scissors. To install, you just need to clean out the groove and press in the kerf to lock it into the frame.

Paul,

Thanks for the information. I just ordered enough strip for my two patio doors.
