Weatherstrip for casement window

Question

WeatherLok (now Atrium) casement windows were installed in 1999. The weatherstrip does not keep out water spray. The diameter of the cylindrical shape of the weather strip in the photo is 1/4 inch. There appears to be a slot into which the weatherstrip profile can be inserted. Can this be replaced routinely without having to replace the whole sash? What weatherstrip do you recommend?

It's tough to tell. Just going by most types of weatherseal, I see no reason why you'd have to replace the whole sash. This should just come right out. We will need to see it out in order to identify it, anyway. I'm afraid I can't make out what you have based on this picture alone; we will need a clear shot of its end profile. With that, I'm confident we can track down something that can replace it.
