Weatherstrip on PGT casement windows model440/540

Home Owner from Lakewood Ranch, Florida
PGT no longer makes this weatherstrip for my casement windows which are less than 7 years old. The current weatherstrip is falling apart on most of my windows.

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see a side profile photo of the seal uninstalled, along with dimensions to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

I will include 3 new pictures of a piece of weatherstrip that I removed. Two pics are from the opposite sides and one pic is an end view.

Thanks for your help.

Take a look and compare the dimensions of our 58-200 kerf seal to yours. Thank you!

Hi,

Did the homeowner ever resolve this issue? If so what part number fixed the issue. I have the same PGT casement CA540 same age with the same failure. It clear way Pgt discontinued the part as the material used deteriorates in the elements. My seals are so brittle thar if you touch them the crumble. Is there a different part to fix this issue? Thanks

Hello,

Have you seen the 58-200 seal that we recommended to the original poster? Take a look and see how the specifications compare to yours. Thanks for posting.
