This window comes with the new build by Mattamy Homes in Ontario Canada year 2001. The weatherstrip is now brittle from the sun and I wonder if there is a part for that. The only name I can find is in the locking mechanism, "mason". I still don't know if I can replace or remove a section of that..

Thanks for your patience during this busy season. I'm afraid I don't recognize this weatherstripping. Can you confirm that it is weatherstripping? It looks to me like its part of the frame.
If it is weatherstripping then we need to see the end profile in as close to undamaged condition as you can manage. I know yours is brittle, so that's easier said than done, but there is no other way to ID seal. If you can't show us the undamaged end profile, we can't help. The video below will explain what I mean.
