See drawing for size. This is a hollow oval weatherstrip. Insects make nests in the hollow part. Is there a foamed filled strip that will work?

Hello, thank you for posting,
Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 58-055 bubble seal to see how it compares to your original. We do not carry a foam filled version of this, but we recommend sticking with the style you have. Switching to a foam filled bubble can cause the window to be more difficult to open and close due to the extra material.
Take a look and let us know what you think!

Lauren:
two questions:
Is 58-055 made from silicone -- my understanding is silicone weather stripping will not stick to properly cured acrylic paint (Ben Moore) whereas vinyl has a tendency, over time, to stick to the face of the weather stripping causing difficulty opening a casement window.
Is this product sold in bulk rolls, e.g. 100, 200 feet, etc.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,
The 58-055 is a UV stabilized Thermoplastic elastomer material. It is sold in 25 foot length increments. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
