Hello! Thanks for reaching out to us. I have seen your weatherstripping before but it is unfortunately no longer made. The best options we have for you are our 58-053 and 58-055. I feel confident that you could get one of these to work but look them over and see what you think.

I like the looks of the 58-1708 weather stripping being that it is foam filled, I am not an expert just my opinion. May be the 58-055 looks like a good fit. I am concerned that the weather stripping will collapse after use or is it better than I am anticipating. That is what happened to the original weather stripping .
Thanks

Hey, Bob. The 58-170B is definitely a possibility. In my experience, though, foam seal isn't any more durable than hollow bubble. Both seals perform their job equally well.

As for the seal collapsing, that will happen inevitably regardless of the seal's make. You can expect these to last around 15 years, depending on how harsh your weather is and how frequently the windows are used. That said, most people I know use weatherstripping for far longer than that, so don't think of it as a time limit; that's just the time you should start thinking about replacement.

In my opinion, size should be your paramount concern at this stage. Since we don't sell the exact style you have now, you just want to make sure you find something that fits.
