Weatherstripping on casement window

Windows are casement crank style windows installed in 2001. I believe this weatherstripping is bubble style? I got about 4-5 windows that are all having the current weatherstripping drying out, super brittle and breaking away from the window. Which product should I use? Also, does your products just fit into the grove by friction fit? Or should I be putting a bead of silicone in there as well when installing?

It's tough to say. How does this fit in the window? It appears that portion has broken off. Do you have an undamaged sample we can see? The angle of your photos is perfect, but we will have to see an undamaged sample to identify a match.

Sadly the initial sample is undamaged. I've attached some photos of the frame so we can see what I'm talking about.

I have received your new pictures but cannot make anything out. I am almost certain something broke off of your sample in the first pictures, otherwise there would be no way to install what you show. Since it is so brittle, like you mentioned, it probably broke off in the channel where it was installed.

Ah, perfect. See our 58-055, this looks to be a good match.
