Weatherstripping replacement for Alenco window

Question

We need to replace weatherstripping on our original Alenco windows from this 1996-1997 home in Houston Texas. I cannot identify model number, but they are single hung, aluminum framed, single pane d Attached are pics of the cross-section of the said part. It no doubt was round, but is squashed over these last 20+ years of service. I have also attached an image of one of the windows.

1. Can you identify the part needed?

2. Is there a special tool for installation? After removing this pictured strip, I cannot reposition the old section.

I'm afraid that I can't identify your weatherstripping from this photo. It's too damaged to make out. It almost looks like the bottom kerf tore off, which may account for why you can't reinstall it.

That also means I don't know what to recommend. Our 58-053 could be a possible match, but you'll have to remove an undamaged sample in order to confirm.
