Weatherstripping slides out of place

Question

How do I keep my tilting window weatherstripping from sliding out of place...its replacement wool pile I bought here that is an exact match...can I glue it in place?

See if you are able to pin the wool pile groove with a center punch or a small screw driver and hammer. Or try a little adhesive in the groove. You don't want to use too much in case you need to replace the wool pile in the future. If it is a vinyl sash, the adhesive would be the better choice.
