Weep hole cover with flap for aluminum window

A home owner from Chino Valley, AZ says:
House built in 2004, no markings on any windows for manufacturer. Slot is 1/4 x 1". Most of these are sun rotted, flaps missing. I counted 36 weep slots to have these

This looks similar to our 26-173 weep hole cover at first glance, but the more I look at it the more differences I note. I'm not sure that this will work.

You may want to consider our 26-186. This is a very versatile type of weep hole cover that can work on most windows due to the fact that it doesn't need to fit over a precisely-sized hole. Instead, you can drill on either side of the weep hole to allow the 26-186 to plug in. Would this work for you?
