Hi, I have identified my balance - 27" Series 385 Channel Balance
Product Code: S385-27, but I am not able to weigh the window. Stamped on the old unit is- "26 5 EW CMC 11" Is it critical to know the exact weight? I am guessing around 20 lbs.

Thanks for posting, Larry. It is very important to make sure that your option is appropriate to the weight of the sash. If it's not correct, then the window will not operate correctly, and you may even risk damaging it.
A stamp of 26 5 usually corresponds to our 2650 option, but I highly recommend that you remove the sash from the window and weigh it just to make sure. Check out our video on how to remove this type of sash.
