What Shoe Do I Need?

A quick learner from Boston, MA says:
I know this is a shoe, but I am not sure the right kind of shoe to purchase? Can you tell based on the shape of this? Also, the silver nut inside the plastic part does not come out, correct? I'm wondering if I just need a new silver nut or if I need to replace the plastic part also. Thank you!!

It's difficult to identify your shoe when it's still installed. It looks like you could have something like our 15-188, but I cannot be sure. I recommend removing your shoe from the window and comparing it to our pictures and dimensions; please note that the most important measurements are the thickness and depth.

The nut you reference is referred to as a cam. They can come out, I suppose, but they are not sold separately except in very rare cases. You will likely need to replace your entire shoe.
