What coil spring do I need?
Do you have the coil springs in stock, I need about 8 (2 on each window and I have 4 windows spring to replace). Please let me know the cost.
The windows Series is 8500/8501
AAMA/NWWDA 101/1 S.2-79
H - R20 - 48 x 78
H - R30*- 36 x 64
I'm not able to identify what you have from this information. We will need you to remove one of the coil balance assemblies from the window in its entirety and show me a picture of the part itself. That will allow us to match it up with something in our inventory.
Thanks! That looks like an older version of our 15-180 pivot shoe. This is compatible with the Series 190 coil spring, 15-186 clip, and 15-182 drum. I am confident that you can use these parts to repair your window.
Since your sash is 19 pounds, I specifically recommend the S190-940 spring. Each spring carries 9 pounds of support, giving you 18 total pounds of support for the whole sash. That should be sufficient in your case. You only need one on each side, regardless of how many you had before (which I think was also just one on each side)
