What is the correct Channel balancer

A quick learner from Florida says:

Window type is a Seasonshield Series 5500 spec. DH-C50/C60.

Window weight 40 lb. 30" tall.

Installed was the attached balancer stamped 2390 30. 24" long.

Recently I purchased your Sash guides # 18-161 for the above window and during installation discovered some bad channel Balancers.

Believe your S380 is the correct balancer for the replacement but not sure the removed existing balancer is the correct length for a 30" window. How should the balancer length be determined?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

Hello! Balance length is determined by the metal channel. If your metal channel is 24" long, then that's what you need.

The Series 380 does look close, I think yours is just an older style. I only recommend that make sure your bottom fitting is 1" deep.

There is one last detail, which is sash weight. 40 pounds exceeds all the options available for the S380-24. Can you confirm that this is the weight of the sash? If so, this may need to be a custom order.
