What is the "sticky outy" piece called that the casement window crank handle slips over/onto? It looks like a gear that fits into the handle.

I need to find a few of these parts to slide my crank handles onto.  Would help to know what it's called.

Hello there! Thanks for reaching out to us. I believe you're referring to the spline. That's what the crank handle is designed to fit onto. That portion can't be replaced though. It sounds like the worm gear might have come out with the handle as well. If that's the case, you'd need a new operator.

May we see a photo of the part you're referring to? We'd also like to see a photo of the window open so that the arms that move the sash are fully visible.
