What is this called and do you have it?

could you tell what this lock is called. There is one at the top and bottom of each of the doors that are on our balconies. This sits inside of the door, almost as if the door was built with it.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with this part. They look to be bolt locks of some kind, though I've never personally run into these. Such locks typically have a lever sticking out that you can step on (for the bottom one) and flip (for the top one). Yours look very old, and I don't think we're going to be able to find them.

Your best bet is to check a local hardware store, like a mom and pop shop with some history. They will hopefully be familiar with homes in your area and what older hardware they may have used.
