What option to choose for a Series 800?

25" Series 800 Channel Balance
Product Code: S800-25

The current balances to be replaced have no markings on them at all. -- The windows are 32" Width X 52" Height.

Which one of the following options do I select in my order ?
Option:
24C
24B
24A

Thanks for posting! Could you please give me the weight of your sash? That will help me determine the best possible option for you to select. You can determine this by removing your sash from the window and placing it on a scale.

Once you have your sash weight, you should compare it to the strengths of each option:

The 24C option can carry a window sash weight range of 13 through 20 pounds.
The 24B can carry 8 through 13 pounds.
Finally, the 24A can carry 4 through 8 pounds.

Please keep in mind that the weight range information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
