Hello. I am confident we can help you with a replacement balance. Before we get started, is there any way we can have you submit another photo showing the front end of the nylon fittings on both ends of the balance? This will help us determine which of our Series balance to recommend. Thank you.
Yes, just of the nylon fittings. I do see the three you previously submitted to us. But, I'd like to have another photo showing the nylon fittings from the front view, if possible. Thank you.
Thank you for the additional photos. Your balance closely resembles both our Series 380 and Series 385. The only difference between these two is the 'depth' measurement of the bottom balance shoe. You will need to measure yours, and compare it with both balances to see which of the two is the better match for you. I also notice that your stamping reads "29 6" which usually tells us two things:
- The metal length measurement of your balance should measure 30" in length, excluding the nylon fittings.
- Our 2960 option can be used to replace your stamping to support a sash weight of 32-35 pounds.
We'd like for you to measure your balance to confirm my information to be accurate. If you also happen to know if the weight of your sash falls within the 32-35 weight limit, then you can confirm the 2960 option to be accurate as well.
