I have a question for one of your tech.'s about the sliding window rollers with metal housing
product code: 87-006, 87-006A, 10-118, or any other of the same size rollers
What type of metal is used on your roller housing, axel, ball bearings, and metal wheels?
Will they rust if moisture or condensation gets on them, are they coated with zinc or any corrosion protection?
They will be close to an outside wall and will get cold in the winter and moisture will probably condense on them.
Thanks,
Patrick
What type of metal is this?

Thank you for posting on the Swisco Discussion Board, Patrick.
The housing for the 87-006 and 87-006A is steel with a zinc coating. The housings are not corrosion proof, however.
