What's the height of the button on the hinge tip of 39-001?

On the deminsions shown on this window crank one seems to be missing. I am replacing a crank operator in a house built in 1953. I picked up a unit at home depot and it would not work. The problem the button at the end of the arm was to thick to exit the window frane and ingage the window. Your digram does not show this deminsion. What is it? do you have different models one not setting so high?

Hi, Ron.

The height of the "button" on the tip of the 39-001 hinge is approximately 5/16".
