Where does the 83-036 install on the screen door to be able to lock it?

This type latch is for an Anderson Patio screen door with the 83-018 handle. The 83-036 is mounted to the door jamb with a screw. What you would do is turn the latch and have the long end go into the cut out on the handle, which locks the door.
