Which Operator

I bought the 39-089 operator for the window pictured but it doesn't close the window all the way. Did I buy the wrong operator for that window and if so should I buy the 39-187 or 39-188?..

It's entirely possible you bought the wrong part, but I can't confirm based on this photo. I need to see a picture of the original operator out of the window in order to find the best match for it. |

Thanks! This operator here is definitely our 39-188. That would definitely be my recommendation. |

Hi, the 39-188 still doesn't close the window entirely..the old crank had a 4" arm and I tried to move the pin on the window to adapt to 5" but it still didn't close the window entirely..the arm hits against the bottom edge of the window..any idea where I should move the pin if that's the problem? Thank you!

I'm very sorry to hear about that. I don't believe they make that 4" arm anymore, unfortunately. The 5" is the closest size that we have. If you're handy, you could swap the arms out. What I usually do is drill the arms out, then install the old arm on the new operator using a rivet like the 62-014, or any equivalent you can find at a hardware store. Would that work for you> |

Thank you so much for your advice..I was finally able to position the a stud bracket so that the 39-188 you recommended works and the window close perfectly!
