Hello,
I'm struggling to work out which Andersen sash balance is the correct replacement for one of my windows.
The right side (viewing from inside) is stamped "L1623/34" and also "P98 700".
The other balance on the left side is stamped differently: "R1631/23" and also "P98 700".
The main body of the both balances has the number "11600-17".
I've attached photos of these.
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Oliver

Hello,
We'd be happy to look into this for you but we'll need you to write out the height and width of the visible glass size of the top and bottom sash. Thank you!

Hello,
Both upper and lower sashes are the same height:
Width of visible glass = 36 7/16"
Height of visible glass = 27 15/16"
Many thanks

Your balance boxes would be replaced by the 24-1231 for each side of the window sash. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else.

Thank you Paul, may I double check this applies for windows with tempered glass?
In the Andersen website they suggest 24-1231 for non tempered glass with those visible glass measurements. However when I put these measurements in for tempered glass they suggest balancer 16L and 16R.
