Which channel balance to order?

The broken window channel balance is about 27 and 1/4 in Long, not including the plastic pieces on the end. Swisco offers a 27 in A, B & C. Which one should I order?

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm afraid we won't be able to help if the metal channel is 27-1/4" long. Can you double-check that for us, just to be safe? We would also like to see an image of the inside of the balance’s metal channel, where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism; this connection is located in the middle of the channel.

I hope these photos help. My handyman says he can install the new channel balance if I order the correct part. Your help is much appreciated!

Our S380-27 or S385-27 with the 2640 stamp would be our best options. The difference between them is the depth of the bottom shoe, so you'll have to measure as shown below. However, note that the metal channel should be 27" long.
