Which pivot shoe?

I believe I need to replace the 30 inch, red tipped, 5/8 " swivel balances in my old vinyl windows which are currently like guillotines. Ouch! Does this mean I should automatically replace the pivot shoes also and how do I know which size pivot shoe to use?

If the pivot shoes are in good shape, re-use them. If not, see if you can find your pivot shoe here. The thickness of the shoe is vital.
