I have a channel balance that is no longer holding a larger vinyl window up. Looks like a previous owner may have installed the wrong size at some point? Not sure what info you would need but here are the window dimensions:
The overall window is 43" wide x 64" tall.
The sash measures 41 1/3" wide x 44" tall
Any other info needed?

Thank you for reaching out to us. We'd be happy to look into this. Is there a reason why you think this balance is the wrong size for the window? Are there any identical windows in the house? If so, we'd like to see the balances from that window. If not, can you confirm the visible glass height of the window sash with missing balances? We will also need to know the precise weight of the sash.
Additionally, can you measure the bottom shoe's depth and tell us what you get?

Thanks for getting back to us, Wes. The metal channel should measure 41" based on the old stamp. Can you confirm if the 42" length includes the fittings, or is that the length of only the metal channel?

Note that the 4030 stamp is rated for a sash weighing 19 to 23 pounds. You say your sash weighs 34.2 pounds, but this would be too strong for the 4030 stamp option. If the window has been giving you issues, you may be better off with the 4050 stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 30 to 35 pounds.
