Which window channel balance do I need?

Hi, I have a looking at your pictures, I can't tell the difference between your S380 and your S385. I have a 23" x ½" piece with top & shoe as shown in the pictures; and marked "22 3 ES Caldwell." Which should I order?

This is certainly either the S380-23 or S385-23. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe. This can be thought of as the 'heel-to-toe' measurement, directly beneath and perpendicular to where the metal channel ends. The Series 380 has a shoe depth of 1", while the Series 385 has a shoe that's 1-3/32" deep. Compare both with your old balance to see what matches best.

No matter what Series you have, based on your old balance's stamp, you'll need a stamp option of 2230.
