Why does my screen door come off the track?

My sliding screen door (Anderson) often comes @off the track".  Does this mean I need a new roller assembly?  I've been here for 16 yrs & the doors were already installed. I believe they were made after 1991.

There could be a lot of reasons. It could be the roller or it could even be the track itself. Check the track first for any dings or bumps that may be causing the rollers to jump off. Also check the rollers themselves to make sure they're not cracked or worn down to nubs.

If everything seems to be in good condition, then you may just need to adjust the door. There should be a screw at the end of the door that you can turn that will raise and lower the wheels in the frame. That could tighten the door up and prevent it from coming off the track again.
