Will 15-188 Replace My Broken Spiral Lock Shoe

Question

Dimensions: 1 1/4" Wide 1/2" Thick 2 1/2" Tall

My Block photo is missing the die cast spiral connector, which is the issue

The discrepancy is the Height (Tall) measurement comparing with
Product Pivot Lock Shoe, 1/2" Thick, Blue Break 15-188
My Shoe measures 2 1/2" verses 2 1/8" listed with the 15-188 item

I'm thinking the dimension difference, in this case, is not relevant with regard to operational effectiveness.
However, I'm using this discussion medium to validate my observation. What do you think? Regarding other information such as window mfg, age, install date, etc ... your guess is as good as mine. Appreciate your help.

Thanks for contacting us. As long as the width and thickness are the same, you should be okay. As you mentioned, the height does not affect the function of the pivot shoe all that much.
