Will 18-188 replace my Milgard part?

Question

The part I need is very similar to the 18-188 top sash guide. It is for a Milgard window which is probably 15 years old. The sizing is exact except for 2 differences.
1. In the second picture, the depth measured at the top of the piece we have is 5/8" vs 1/2" on the 18-188
2. In the same picture, the depth measured at the bottom of the piece we have measures 3/8" vs 9/32" on the 18-188.

Will your 18-188 piece work?

I suggest you use the 18-009 top sash guide and trim the three thin plastic edges at the top of the guide where they protrude past the main body of the guide. I've done this before and found it was an easy solution that works perfectly for the Milgard non tilt window.
