Will 82-002 fit a 1 1/2" thick door?

There was a version of the 82-002 that could work for thicker doors like you, but I don't believe the they're made anymore, unfortunately. You will need to see if can use the 82-002 patio handle but while reusing the longer screws from the original. You will also have to reuse the old locking tooth hook. Even then I can't confirm that it will work, but if you're handy then you may be able to get it operation.
