Will the 32-119 replace the 471037 Merlliat socket?

Hello there. Yes, I do believe that our 32-119 will work for this application. It won't install as-is out of the box, though, so you have a bit of handiwork ahead of you. There are a couple of key differences that you need to take note of.

First, our socket is meant to screw in, it doesn't plug in like your original. That means you will need to drill new holes or, if you have one, use a staple gun.

Secondly, if you do screw this in, note that your cabinet wall may be too thin to comfortably take a screw. In such a case you will need to fortify it with a plank of wood.
