Will the 82-008 Work?

Does the 82-008 work on a 1.25" thick door. Original DNS 1400 12 inside has a track that holds the hook and it allows the hook to be moved inward or outward depending on the depth of the door to center it. Similar model lock set at Home Depot/Lowes like your 82-008 does not allow hook movement for different thickness doors, Hook screws in flush with lock which places it to far to the inside to allow it to line up with the catcher without major cutting to enlarge the hole.

Thank you. I considered using washers or similar to move it in line with catcher however concerned with movement of the hook since there is no track to retain it. Lowes lists a Wright model that will fit a 1.25" door but Center to center is 6.5" which is different. As the C to C does not need to line up with any holes in the door frame this should work. Thanks.
