Will the 82-077 work with my door?

A quick learner from UT says:

Will this handle work on a door that is 7/8 thick?

I think it should be fine. This is a surface mount handle, so it doesn't interact with anything inside the door itself. The only thing you may have to do is reuse your old screws.
