Will the 82-081 work for me?

I am trying to replace my original slider handle (only has the internal lock lever) with a keyed lock for the outside. The current handle does not have a mortise hole, but I believe I can drill one.
The old handle has mounting screws that are 4 and 5/16" apart, (center to center). The door's width is 1".
Will the 82-081 with the adjustable striker work for me?
