Thanks for your post! This is the worm gear from your casement operator and it has become completely stripped from the mechanism. I'm afraid we would not be able to provide you with a replacement for this piece, and it is not something that can be repaired. That said, you will need to replace the entire operator.

There is a good chance we can recommend a replacement, but I'll need to see photos of the base (with the cover removed), the arm(s), and how the operator attaches to the bottom of the swing window sash.
