Window Balance

Question

Can you advise what Swissco balance model is the best replacement for what I have now. The one in the pictures is 1/2" width and the metal frame is 25" long. The length of the spring where it attaches to the pins at each end is 15-1/4". The window is non-tilting.

Thanks for writing in! Your window balance is assembled similar to the S378-25, S380-25, and the S385-25. To determine which of these is the best fit for you window, you'll need to confirm the depth of your bottom shoe.

Based on your 24 4 stamp, you can likely use the 2440 stamp option which can support a sash weighing 19 t 24lbs.
