Window Balance

Question

I am interested in purchasing several window balances. My current balance in 9/16" and the window is 24 lbs and the tip is orange in color. Your site only gives the option of an red or black tip balance. According to the window weight, your site states I should order a red tip balance. Is that correct, or should I try to find a orange tip like my current balance?

I agree, Red Tip should be fine. You won't find an "orange" tip. Every different spiral balance manufacturer seems to use a different shade of red, from cherry to orange, but they're all considered "red" in the industry.
