Window Balance

Hello, I am trying to replace my window balance. I see 26 5 CX CMC 7 on the balance. Thanks

We will need to see a photo of the balance removed from the window to be able to determine the best replacement for you. Please include the end nylon attachments in your photos, as well as the stamp which is printed on the metal channel. Thanks!

Hi Tom, I have attached many pictures that I hope will help. Please note that there are 2 different balances in the pictures as I need to fix 2 windows that have different balances. Thanks!

With this combination of attachments, you could have either a S380 or S385 channel balance. You need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.

Also, If you need a replacement sash guide as well, we'll need to see a front and side view of it removed form the window to make a good recommendation.
