Window Balance

Question

I have this type of balance that I cannot find a shoe for in you're list of items. This channel is 27 inches long without the ends. I need 10 of these plus four more but for a window that weighs 15-20 pounds.

Hi Tom. We can replace these balances for you, but they must be custom made due to their unique configuration. For the balances stamped 27-3, I am sending you an email with a custom link to order ten. Note that the manufacture of these balances, BSI, discontinued the wingless shoe, so the replacements will have wings or 'tabs' on the bottom fitting; it will work exactly the same way, but I'm just letting you know so you don't get confused by the different appearance. Finally, to help with the four extra balances, I need pictures of the fittings and any stamp code on their metal channels to narrow down what you need.
